Lynn Fletcher "The Cowboy"
Born in New Mexico, in 1940, Lynn spent summers with his grandparents in northwestern Arkansas. Both his father and grandfather were cattlemen as well as horsemen. In 1952, Lynn followed his folks to Florida from Louisianna. Along the way his love for horses soon developed into a wonderful bond.

After high school he joined the Navy for 4 years which took him to many places. He later joined the Merchant Marines and traveled to India. All along he had a longing for horses and cattle.

Back in the "States", Lynn spent long days working on ranches for several years. He didn't make much money and was practically starving. It was then he decided to turn another page in his life.

Lynn accidently got involved in trading old tack. Over time he graduated to new tack. In 1987, Lynn opened a tack store in Riverview, Florida. It was there that he got involved with childrens' horse shows and events. One of his favorite events was barrel racing. He continued to sell and board horses there until 2005.

Lynn moved to central Florida (Sumter County) to pick up where he left off and opened a a beatiful tack shop full of the "new cowboy" styles and a flash of the "old cowboy" life.

Lynn still has his horses and can recount the 20 plus years of "Team Roping Days" like it was yesterday.

Whether you need a saddle, reins, bits or anything for your horse, Lynn Fletcher's Tack Shop will bring out the "Cowboy or Cowgirl" in anyone who stops into to visit or buy.

Lynn will always tell you the friendly service is still free.
